I recently had my eyebrows tinted and tinted, my first experience of this kind, and I am very happy with the result. About Powder Brows

What are Powder Brows, and are they the same as microblading?

Powder Brows are a form of eyebrow micropigmentation that creates a soft, shaded effect similar to lightly applied brow makeup. They are not microblading and do not create individual hairstrokes. The shape, shade and intensity are customized with Marcela before the procedure.

Will my Powder Brows look too dark or artificial?

During the first days, the brows can look darker and more intense than the healed result. The colour gradually softens during healing. Marcela discusses your preferred intensity beforehand, so the result can be kept subtle and natural or made more defined depending on your preference.

How much do Powder Brows cost, and is the touch-up included?

The first Powder Brows appointment is 1600 MDL and includes the consultation, brow design and procedure. The touch-up is not included in that price. A touch-up is usually considered around 6–8 weeks later and costs 900 MDL.

How long do Powder Brows last, and what happens while they heal?

Powder Brows typically last around 1.5–2 years on average, but this varies depending on factors such as skin type, metabolism and brow care. During healing, the brows may initially appear darker, the area may feel slightly sensitive and the skin may lightly exfoliate. The colour gradually softens, and the final result should only be assessed after the brows have fully healed.

Can I have Powder Brows if I already have old eyebrow micropigmentation?

Possibly, but Marcela needs to assess the existing pigment first. Previous micropigmentation can sometimes be worked over, but if the old pigment is too intense, poorly positioned or an unsuitable shade, removal may be needed before a new Powder Brows procedure.
